Our concept idea:
From the first day the client came with a curved idea similar to “yin – yang” symbol.
Our challenge was to transform this idea to a build reality transforming the idea to a successful composition. The strong concept of the “yin” was “seeking” for a dynamic shape in order to create a “design wedding” of two ideas. The “yin” volume placed up accommodating the bedrooms and the rest family uses while a linear dynamic volume placed on the ground receiving uses like the living, dinning kitchen and office area.
By composing the two volumes we realised that to the synthesis was simultaneously dynamic and harmonious in such a way that the residents of the house have the feeling of equilibrium inside and out the space.
The spectacular view of Athalassa forest is preserved by the extensive use of glass.
